About Me

Hi, I’m Josh Siddon, the founder and author of TechScribe.org. As a passionate technology leader and enthusiast, I created this blog to explore the intersection of innovation, leadership, and real-world tech applications. Whether it’s diving into cybersecurity strategies, digital transformations, or the future of IT, my goal is to break down complex concepts into actionable insights that empower readers—from tech pros to curious newcomers.

With over a decade of experience in executive IT leadership, I’ve spearheaded initiatives at organizations like MAA, where I’ve focused on leveraging technology to drive efficiency, security, and growth. My career has taken me through roles in retail tech transformation, crisis management (like navigating data breaches), and building high-performing teams. I hold an MBA from Colorado Technical University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation in business and tech strategy.

Beyond my day job, I’m deeply involved in the tech community. I’m the President of the Society for Information Management (SIM) Memphis Chapter, where we share best practices and explore emerging trends. I also serve on the Advisory Committee for the University of South Florida’s Cybersecurity for Executives program, helping shape education on cyber risks and ROI. Previously, I was a board member of the Murfreesboro Technology Council, contributing to regional tech economic development.

My writing has been featured in publications like Boss Magazine and Profile Magazine, where I’ve discussed topics such as digital optimization and stepping up tech infrastructure post-challenges. Here on TechScribe.org, I blend that expertise with my love for clear, engaging communication—turning “tech speak” into stories that resonate.

When I’m not writing or leading teams, you’ll find me volunteering with FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). As a FRC Team Recruiter in North Mississippi, a field supervisor for regional events, and a coach for FIRST Lego League, I’m committed to inspiring the next generation of STEM innovators. It’s all about fostering curiosity and problem-solving, much like what I aim to do through this blog.

Thanks for stopping by TechScribe.org. Let’s connect on LinkedIn or drop me a line—I’d love to hear your thoughts on the latest in tech!
